To apply for residency at Youville Place is very simple. There is no fee for your application. Complete the two documents in the application package, and return to the Marketing Department at Youville Place.
The physician’s evaluation must be completed by your physician.
Once these documents are returned, we will be in touch with you to discuss timing, your apartment preferences, etc.
When you have determined that Youville Place is a good fit for you and your family, and you have identified an apartment that suits you, you may reserve it by signing the Community Fee Agreement. This is a formal commitment to the apartment, and to signing a lease with Youville Place. At this time, you would supply a check for $3000, which is a one time, “Community Fee.”
Following this commitment, our Wellness Nurse will schedule a formal “Wellness Assessment” to determine a prospective resident’s service needs and to get a better understanding of the kinds of resources best suited to each individual. Should this assessment determine that Youville Place is unable to meet the needs of the applicant, we will return the $3000 Community Fee less $350 for the assessment.
Once the assessment has been successfully completed, lease documents are signed, and a first month’s rent (prorated if necessary) and security deposit are supplied. Our Director of Community Life works with each new resident and their family to coordinate their move and to support all the details necessary for a smooth transition to Youville Place.
