Mary will explore listening styles, communication barriers, and developing ways of listening more effectively in our daily lives.

During the program she will discuss:

  • Communication challenges
  • Listening styles/modes
  • Barriers to effective listening and strategies for dealing with them
  • “Presence” – what it is and how we can develop it within ourselves
  • Skills to improve communication with patients, clients and co-workers

Join us and discover tools designed to improve our listening skills and help us become better communicators, both professionally and at home.

This program offers 1 Social Work CEU, 1 CCM credit and 1 Nursing contact hour

Registration & continental breakfast 8:00-8:30 AM
